About

Apprenticeships are a great way to develop a pipeline of talented, high-skilled workers to help businesses grow. We want to share information so that more employers understand how apprenticeships can add value to their businesses and provide greater opportunities for their workers.

Our Registered Apprenticeship Program is responsible for training carpenter, millwright, and pile driver apprentices in Louisiana. To get the job done, we train our apprentices at our two state-of-the-art training centers located in the Greater New Orleans Area and Baton Rouge, LA. These two facilities are responsible for training over 350 apprentices during their four year apprenticeship.

Apprentices are responsible for completing four weeks of formal training per year. Training ranges from core skills such as trade-related mathematics, print reading, layout , safety, and communication to specific craft skills in commercial, industrial, and heavy construction applications.
