Trainees in this course will learn and practice 3D modeling as a tool for the design, visualization, and testing of product ideas. Laser cutting, 3D printing, and CNC milling may be used to create physical prototypes. Trainees will analyze, design, and virtually build models of residential and commercial structures.

Dual-enrollment opportunities

Not only will trainees produce digital prototypes, serving as a virtual representation of a final product in industry-standard programs like Autocad Inventor and Autodesk Revit. They will have the opportunity to earn college credits that they can transfer to their college or university of choice after high school graduation.
