About
Our High School 2 High Wage Program is open to students in grades 10th-12th and (in some cases) recent high school graduates. Courses are offered after school in the fall and spring both virtually and in person. We also offer a virtual and in-person half-day summer camp.
The classes we offer for are HS2HW Program are: Fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Advanced Javascript, Functional Programming, and Web Development, Professional Web and Mobile Development, Fundamentals of Video Game Programming, and Internet of Things.

Computer Programmers
Create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.

Is this a career path I'll enjoy?
During his junior and senior years at NOMMA, Wilber completed Operation Spark’s high school courses, earning basic industry-based credentials in the Fundamentals of JavaScript, Functional Programming, and Web Development. In addition, he completed advanced classes in video game programming and the Internet of Things, further fueling his interest in coding.
After graduating, he joined OpSpark for a summer internship, then enrolled in the organization’s industry-level workforce training program.
What skills and credentials will I gain?
Students have the opportunity to earn their Level I and II credentials by the time they graduate from high school.
Admissions
Our programs are open to Louisiana high students in grades 10th-12th. The introductory course does not have a prerequisite.
